The "Everyday Makeup Routine" post seems to be one of the most popular posts for fashion and beauty bloggers, so I thought I would make it my first beauty post!
First off, I would like to be very honest. Contrary to popular belief, I do not wear makeup every day. I know, what a surprise! I'm not one of those girls who doesn't feel "put together" without a face full of makeup, so some days, I just don't bother with it. However, when I do take the time to do my makeup, I usually put on a "full face," meaning everything from foundation to lipstick.
Below, I'll share some of my favorite products I use on a daily basis. (Reminder: I'm fresh out of college, so even my makeup routine is "balling on a budget.")

Step 1: Moisturizer
This is the most important step. Even on the days I don't wear makeup, I still put on moisturizer. It reduces the chances of skin problems: dryness, itchiness, redness, wrinkles, even acne. And if you're thinking "I can't moisturize! I already have super oily skin!," well there are moisturizers made for oily skin, specifically. It is essential to moisturize your skin daily. I make a point to moisturize morning and night. My current favorite moisturizer is Aveeno® Positively Radiant® Daily Moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF 15.

Step 2: Foundation
Secondly, I put on foundation. I am currently loving Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream in Medium. It's a drugstore brand, so it is affordable. I like this BB Cream because it provides the perfect amount of coverage without feeling heavy. I feel like a lot of foundations are really heavy and look like they're pasted on your face. This BB Cream is perfect because it's like a moisturizer with a slight tint. It is also incorporates an acne treatment. It is 2% salicylic acid, so it not only provides a sheer, light coverage, but helps prevent acne breakouts!

Step 3: Power Foundation
Next, I usually go over my BB Cream foundation with some powder foundation to provide fuller coverage. Again, I don't want my makeup to feel heavy, so I use a lighter feeling powder. I currently use bareMinerals® BAREPRO® Performance Wear Powder Foundation in Warm Natural 12. I use a powder brush and just lightly go over my BB Cream foundation. I also use this at the end of makeup routine to help blend everything together.

Step 4: Bronzer
This step is one of my favorite steps. I think bronzer accentuates facial features the best. I use bronzer on my cheek bones, under my jaw line, on the sides of my nose and across my forehead. I am currently using bare Minerals® Invisible Bronze Powder Bronzer in Fair to Light. I like this bronzer because it is not only the perfect shade for my face, but it also has a little bit of shimmer to it, and who doesn't love some shimmer?

Step 5: Blush
Next step is blush! I think blush adds the perfect touch of color to the look. I usually go for pinkish nude colors. I am currently using Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in paaarty (nude). I use the smallest amount right on my cheeks and sometimes a little on the tip of my nose to add some color.

Step 6: Highlighter
Highlighter is one of my favorite steps in my makeup routine. I try not to go overboard with the sparkles, but I love the shimmer! I have recently been using Wet n Wild MegaGlo Loose Highlighting Powder in I'm So Lit. You only need to use a small amount of powder to get a great glow. I use it on my cheekbones, underneath my eyebrows, and on the bridge of my nose.

Step 7: Eyeshadow
Next step is eyeshadow. Some days, I don't use eyeshadow, but when I do, I typically use light pinks and warm neutrals. My go-to eyeshadow palette is the IT Cosmetics Naturally Prettyâ„¢ Matte Luxe Transforming Eyeshadow Palette. My favorite colors to use are Sheer Joy, Love, Soft Light, Warmth, and Soulful.

Step 8: Eyebrows
Next step is one of the most important steps for me. I think filling in my eyebrows completes my makeup look. I use the Elf Eyebrow Kit in Dark because I use quite a lot of eyebrow product and Elf has really affordable products. I really like this brow product because it goes on really smoothly and doesn't look too dark for my brows.

Step 9: Mascara
Second to last step is mascara. I always use waterproof mascara because it lasts longer and doesn't rub off as easily. I use Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes Waterproof Mascara. I love this mascara because it doesn't clump and makes my lashes look very dark and thick.

Step 10: Lipstick
The last step is lipstick, and yes, this is a necessary step. I think lipstick completes the entire look. I have been using liquid lipsticks by Maybelline New York. My favorite is Superstay Matte Inkâ„¢ Un-Nude Liquid Lipstick in the color Seductress. It's the perfect pinkish-nude color. It dries matte but doesn't dry out your lips, so it feels good and lasts longer!

Those are my ten favorite products I use to create my "everyday makeup routine." Let me know what y'all think of these products, and comment some of your go-to daily makeup products below!
